Michael Engel has been commissioned to paint 12 panels based on "The Bacchae", the Greek tragedy written by Euripides in the 4th Century B.C. The paintings illustrate the legend of Dionysos the Greek God of Wine. The exhibit opens May 4h, 2007 at the Getty Villa Museum in Malibu, California.
